Oddly enough, I've never been pestered by over-religious zealots about Psi, not even when I told my priest. I was really surprised.

But the people who bug me with fluff stuff really piss me off. Here's a quick re-creation of a common conversation (I'm in blue, they're in bold, my thoughts are in italic):

"So you're into Psychic stuff?"
"Yeah, what about it?"
"What am I thinking right now?"
"What the fuck? Stupid fucking people thinking all psis are infallible telepaths! Shut the fuck up!"
"I'm not a telepath, but-"
"Move something!"
"I WAS going to tell you what I can do, but you have to be a closed-minded fuckface, so you're not getting shit!"
"I'm not going to "prove" myself to you."

Then I usually just walk away. Stupid bloody people...

I'm angry with these kinds of people, I know... Razz But if they're even a little bit open-minded, I do what I can to educate these people. As for the ignorant lumps of shit, I guess we just have to put up with them.
