ONe day I just wanted to meditate to calm my spirit. I havent done any meditations before that, so I just went for it. I closed my eyes in a comfy sitting position and felt my mind go stray, and saw some vivid images of random things, after one point I had an image of someone's eyes opening right in front of my face, rapidy and it had some feline properties (slit-eye and was very curved). It scared the shit out of me so I suddenly stopped and "woke up". Anyone can explain this, or maybe someone also had a smiliar or diffferent experience?

That happens to me alot when i try to relax. If i think about alot of things before i try to meditate, i get too many random images that can be really scary. You shouldnt worry about it though.

It happens, just your mind having fun. Some times if I meditate, it feels like i'm falling apart. Like kinda feels like someone is smudging me around. And I'm no longer proportional, like what ever i focus on is HUGE. It's kinda cool. When you get good at meditation, crazy shit can happen. One time I was at this large drum circle(they are fun, really) and I started zoning out, and after a while my friend tapped me on the shoulder and wanted me to get up and do something(dancing I guess) but i was GONE. idk what happened but my hearing was quited, kidna sounded like people were further away, and there was colors EVERYWHERE, mostly blue and green. It was neeto. I forgot I was in public for a second and started trying to touch the colors on a wall, people looked at me like a was on acid or somthing. It was by far the coooolest experience i had.
Shit's crazy, good luck. Rahmid |

Hi, new to meditation...
I've followed the steps. Relaxing body, mind, focus on breathing. Then I fell asleep...... Anyway to avoid that? |

I read somewhere that when you meditate the right way it triggers a gland in your body that produces mild psychedelic sensations.
